Mountain cabin with panoramic views in beautiful Tuddal

My place is good for couples and families (with kids). Situated on Flugon Mountain in Tuddal. Prepared ski slopes start outside the cabin doors. The cabin is located just by Flugonfjell ski center, small hill of 700m, nice for children The cabin is 107 m2 + closed loft of about 20m2. There are 3 bedrooms, two toilets and sauna. Hemsen (loft) has two beds and works fine as a living room for children and young people. Close to Gaustatoppen and about 30 min drive to Rjukan during summer time (the road over Gaustatoppen is closed winter) The space The cabin has a panoramic view of Gaustatoppen and Lifjell-Sauherad Mountains. We love to sit and look at the wide view, whether it's from inside the couch or at the dining table. The cabin is furnished so that there is a large common room where everyone can have contact even if someone is cooking and others are sitting in the sofa hook. One can also choose private zones, with us the youth has often retired to the loft and was doing games etc. This is how the family can work well together in the cabin for many days with just getting close enough. In the winter we usually make a hill just outside the terrace. There is a fire pit for the cuddle at night or for a barbecue, there is a simple charcoal grill as well. Other things to note Tuddal is a small village with local center with grocery store, housekeeping and building goods. It is close to Tuddal Høyfjellshotell which is famous for its good food and which now also has its own microbrewery with sale of local beer and home-baked bread goods. There are many excursions nearby. Nice trails, the closest one is right behind the cabin up on Flugon Mountain itself; a great panoramic. Otherwise there are paths and local peaks, and many small waters nearby. Especially unique is perhaps Gaustatoppen, which is a nice hike up whether you walk or take the Gaustabanen which is an old military facility and goes inside the mountain to the top. Here you can drive in summer, but in winter the road is closed due to snow. You can come here by ski. For those who are biking, there are great conditions in Bondal and up past Gaustatoppen. We have also brought kayaks and paddled small water in Bondal. There is also water that it should be possible to paddle at the center of Tuddal and by the hotel. It is also close to world heritage listed Rjukan (about 35 minutes in the summer, in winter the road over Gaustatoppen is closed, then you have to drive around and it takes about 1.5 hours). Here there is a lot of industrial history, here the heavy water action took place during World War II and here are parts of the Snowman (film) recorded. For those seeking challenges, there are knitting jumps from Vemorkbrua Rjukan also has a sun mirror on the mountain that reflects the sun down in the square in winter. In addition, it is the gondola Krossobanen that was designed to allow the residents of Rjukan to get up in the sun. For families with children, Bø Summerland is a popular location.
