Eifel-Idylle: Your retreat in the countryside

Bring your whole family or friends with you to our bright, spacious and beautifully located accommodation, with plenty of room for fun and entertainment. We are located right by the fabulous barefoot and multi-generational playground for young and old. Here, you can play bocce or table tennis, or simply walk barefoot along the expansive barefoot path, take a dip in the pool, or just sit in the sun and watch the little ones play—what could be better? The accommodation is located directly on the creek The space Schmidtheim is a district of Dahlem and is idyllically nestled in the beautiful nature of the Eifel. Directly at the property or in the immediate vicinity there are numerous hiking and biking trails that invite you to extensive tours. The Eifel National Park, as well as the Nürburgring, can be reached in about 35 minutes by car. In the summer months, Lake Kronenburger and Lake Rursee offer ideal opportunities for swimming and relaxing. Within walking distance is Gastronomie Alt Schmidtheimer Hof, which I highly recommend as well as an Italian and a baker. Very close, about 10 minutes' walk, at the small sports airport, Dahlemer Binz, there is an attractive go-kart track. Animal lovers will get their money's worth in the wildlife park, Hellenthal or in the open-air museum, Kommern. Also not far away is the Eifalia butterfly garden in Blankenheim. Even in winter, the region has a lot to offer: small ski resorts such as the "Weiße Stein" invite you to winter activities. Right by our beautiful vacation rental, we have: • A small toboggan run for young and old • The Barefoot and Multigenerational Playground • Schmidtheim Castle • One volleyball court • The sports and soccer field • A stream Guest access The garden surrounding the house, with an adjoining fire pit on the property Other things to note Please install the under-sink heater in the kitchen under the sink to provide hot water in the kitchen. and also turn it off again when you leave the accommodation, as otherwise it will continuously heat water. A washing machine is available in the basement (the one on the right). You will find detergent on the right, next to the washing machine.
