A lovely spacious and luxurious relaxing place in the historic center of Dordrecht. Completely renovated and very tastefully completely newly decorated. In the middle of the bustling heart of the city and yet quiet. Museums, harbors, shopping, restaurants, bars and special studios and boutiques are all within walking distance. Note: We do not rent to youth and party groups. We expect our tenants to be quiet after 10 p.m. The space Guest monument no. 6 Stay in a special historical monument! This monumental building from 1650 in the middle of the Hofkwartier of Dordrecht has a rich history. Artists lived here, shopkeepers sold special goods here, and recently it was still an art gallery and a little longer ago it was part of a larger complex to which "Het pand met de dweilen" also belongs. Some authentic and atmospheric details of the old walls and beams are still visible. And on the 1st floor, the old stained glass is still present. The entire property has been renovated and furnished with new and surprising elements and modern furnishings. The property has a fresh and bright atmosphere in which you will immediately feel at home. The check-in is done contactless by means of a key code with which you open a locker with the keys to the house. So there is no contact with the host, and you are the only ones who use the entire property. Guests. The property is divided into two floors. Your home is located on the 1st and 2nd floors. You can stay here comfortably with 6 people and a baby/toddler. Logeermonument No.6a is suitable for couples or families who love space, business travelers, families (with children), and larger groups. A crib for baby/toddler is standard. Note: The ground floor is furnished as studio/loft No.6 and suitable for 4 people. No.6 can be easily connected so that you can also stay with a larger group. Please check out our other ad! Relax and/or work, you can do both! There is a completely new spacious and open kitchen. A relaxation corner with lazy armchairs and a sofa bed. At the front, there is a large table with ten chairs by the window where you can work, meet or have a nice dinner with your company. Of course, fast Wi-Fi is available, and a flat-screen TV (with NETFLIX!) is ready for you in the sitting area. Food. You are in the historic and bustling heart of Dordrecht. Within walking distance, there are many restaurants, cafes, and cozy terraces. You can eat Chinese, Italian, French, Dutch, Thai, Japanese and Surinamese food in this neighborhood. Around the corner is a special brasserie where you can enjoy fresh coffee, cakes, snacks and dinners all day long. Within walking distance you will find very luxurious but also affordable restaurants and intimate (breakfast & lunch) bars. Would you rather not leave the house? The kitchens in the building are large and modern. You eat at the large table where there are 10 chairs. We do not serve breakfast as standard, but a breakfast service through one of our local bakers is possible on request. Sleeping. The master bedroom (2 p.) with large double box spring bed is large enough to place the existing crib for baby or toddler. The cozy and intimate attic (2 p.) at the rear of the property has two single beds, is wonderfully quiet and has a special appearance due to the sloping roof and the small windows. The sofa in the sitting area on the 1st floor can also easily be transformed into a spacious double bed. The luxurious designer bathroom with spacious walk-in shower offers every comfort. There is also plenty of space for your clothes and suitcases. There is a hairdryer, iron and ironing board. Extra blankets and pillows are waiting for you. Is there anything to do? The location itself is fully equipped for relaxing and is wonderfully quiet, but in the immediate vicinity there is much to experience. Nice hip coffee and smoothie bars, vegan restaurants, modern lunch and dinner restaurants, everything is nearby. The museum and theater are at the end of the street, and the cinema is around the corner. Nice studios, flea markets and galleries are close by, the street is part of the Art Route. The pedestrian area starts two steps away. Discover the longest shopping street in the Netherlands, walk through the narrowest street in the city, over one of the many bridges and stroll past the historic canal houses and along the many harbors. A unique boat tour? This is easy because the boarding jetty is at the end of the street. Popcentrum Bibelot in the Energiehuis is only an 8-minute walk. It is only a two-minute walk to the Drierivierenpunt on the Groothoofd, where you have great views of the rivers from one of the cozy terraces. Note: You are in a 400-year-old monumental building, from the time when sound insulation did not yet exist. So you may hear "house sounds." After 10 p.m., we expect you to be considerate of the neighbors and not play loud music/sounds. You are warmly welcome. Guest access You have your own complete apartment. If desired, you can also have a bicycle. For guests who want to stay longer, there is an optional cleaning service. The modern kitchen is completely new with a fridge-freezer, a combi oven and dishwasher. Ceramic hob, pans, dishes and cutlery. Modern, completely new design bathroom with toilet, sink and walk-in shower. Do you need more space? On the ground floor of this monument is a studio/loft No.6 (sleeping space for 4 people) that can be connected. The loft also has its own courtyard/garden. (See our other ad).
