The "Monte das Matas" close to the castle of Monsaraz and directly on the Alqueva lake is a perfect location for holidays in a unique enviornment. Come and relax in the Pool, discover the castle of Monsaraz, taste the wine and food of the region... The space We renting out our spacious house / cottage on the fantastic Alqueva Lake nearby the historic castle of Monsaraz. The house has 4 sleeping rooms, all of them suites with private bath room, direct access to the Garden / Terrace, cupboards. Each room has 28 m2, 2 Beds, desk, TV, chairs and tables for inside and outside. There is also another Sofa-Bed for 2 persons in the loft. The whole house is equipped with modern climatization, the large kitchen is full equipped, the living room with chimney and TV offers unique views directly on the lake. Cable TV Bed clothes and towels available. The 10 x 5 m pool invites you (working from May to middle of October) as well as the Alqueva Lake (about 150 m from the house, the biggest artificial lake of Europe) to swim, or in the Lake to fish, go by boat or to surf, or just to walk around. The property has a total of 3.300 m2 land, private parking and is totally fenced. Only 2 km from the castle of Monsaraz, 1 km from the next Restaurant, 12 km from Reguengos de Monsaraz, 10 km from Mourao and 20 from Spain, you are in the perfect location for passing holidays in the nature with all modern facilities available. Please note: For New Years Eve and Eastern, the minimum stay is 3 nights! A refundable security deposit of 250 EU in cash has to be paid on arrival. The water of the house is from a own borehole and is not drinkable! Late check out until 18.00 depending of the availablitiy! On days where the house is rented again on the same day, the check out time is 11 a. m. ! Please note, the cottage is located on the countryside close the the lake and NOT on the address generated here automaticly! Guest access The whole house, the garden, the Pool (attention: the Pool only is swimable from May - October ) Other things to note Attention: WE DO NOT PROVIDE CLEANING DURING YOUR STAY (except of the Pool) and we do not have any permanent reception.
