El Vivero is a house on the beach on one of the most exclusive, charming and romantic corners on the shore of the Mar Menor. Two Metres from the sea, the house enjoys 180 degree views of the sea. As an old fisherman's cottage it is perfectly placed between the Mar Menor and the Mediterranean close to the fishing village of Cabo de Palos and La Manga, Murcia. The space It sleeps 8-10 people and sits at the end of a big garden with Palms Hibiscus and bouganvillias. Painted in blue and white, it is perfectly Mediterranean and has fantastic sunsets over the sea. The garden has a private pol and sundeck,an outside kitchen/BBQ and apretty porch overlooking the sea. Its designed to enjoy all aspects of the day and evening. The outside kitchen bar is perfect for breakfasts or cocktails. There is private parking for two cars. Inside, the four ensuite bedrooms are decorated according to their names: Mimosa, Lavender, Jasmin and Sandalwood. They all have a view of the garden and the sea. The sitting room is an old conservatory, with views of the garden and the sea. The fully equipped kitchen has views of the sea and seating infront of a large old fireplace. Other things to note El mar Menor is a salt water lake joined to the Mediterranean in the region of Murcia. It's ecology and nature makes it very special and it's the biggest salt lake in Europe. The shore of the Mar Menor has a succession of sandy beaches. The Mediterranean sea, 5 minutes driving from the villa has 36km of beaches. Five minutes driving is La Manga Golf Club.ne of the best in Europe.There are three 18 hole courses.The South which is a championship course;The North which is slightly shorter and The West through Pine woods. Also ther are driving ranges and practice areas. The Mar Menor, Cabo de Palos and La Manga offer wonderful eating, specialising in Mediterranean cooking with rice dishes and excellent fresh fish. El Caldero is the most famous dish, invented by the local fishermen, with rice, peppers, garlic and fresh fish from the rocks making a delicious flavour.
