Marekov Dvor is a family-run homestead in a beautiful remote area of the Slovak mountains. You'll find us at the altitude of 1000 meters above the sea level surrounded by meadows and woods. We keep cows and make cheese from their milk; we produce our own meat, and we also have horses used for riding services - mainly walking trips in the surrounding nature. Our guests become part of our daily farm life and we welcome them to our family. LGBTQ+ friendly The space Hidden in a valley about 1 kilometre away from the nearest village, our place offers the silence, serenity and beautiful nature most people expect to find in this region - the ideal hideaway from the rush of a city life. Guest access We mentioned before - our guests become part of our family. There is, of course, a private room with a lockable door. The facilities in the main house are shared with the family; however, there is an additional bathroom with a toilet as a part of a separate unit in the garden. There is also a fire place area with benches, and a sheltered seating area with electric lights, sockets, cutlery, fridge, deck chairs and a grill - a perfect summer hangout. The entire farm and the surrounding land is at our guests' disposal. During your stay Marekov Dvor is a working farm, which means, us, the owners are always home at our guests' disposal. Other things to note This is a working farm, which means there are live animals - cows, horses, dogs, goats, cats, etc. All of these are friendly of course. There are also animal sounds and occasional smells which positively add to the farm experience. Please keep in mind, our homestead is not located within the village of Drabsko itself. Even though, our address is a part of it, you’ll find us in a part called Sedmak where the road to our place is signed. Please make sure you look at our precise location before you depart on your journey. You can use the map here on AirBnB. There is a marked parking lot on the hill above the farm. If you drive a particularly low vehicle, keep also in mind, the road between the village and our place is a dirt track.
