Ash Cottage at Crylla Valley

This spacious 2 bedroom holiday cottage is set within the well-manicured private grounds of Crylla Valley Cottages which includes 18 acres of lawns, flower gardens and woodlands to explore. Maximum occupancy is for a total of 5 people INCLUDING up to 1 infant (there should be no more than 4 adults in the group). Ideally located on the Cornwall Devon border giving you the opportunity to explore both counties so you will always have plenty to do. There are a range of Cornish beaches to choose from, south or north coast options, the closest being just over 15 minutes by car. Explore the stunning Whitsand Bay area with spectacular views from the coast road. The famous beaches in and around Newquay are approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour drive. Enjoy day trips to the popular Cornish harbour towns of Looe, Polperro, Mevagissey, Fowey and Falmouth. The Eden project is always a popular destination. Further afield you have the option of standing at Lands End and you can even visit St Ives for the day. Britain's Ocean City, Plymouth, is just over 15 minutes by car. Dartmoor National Park and historic Tavistock are also within easy reach. Whilst staying at the property you will have access to a nearby members only leisure club, this is one of the best facilities in Cornwall and a great addition to your stay. You will have membership passes to cover up to 2 adults and 3 Children (up to and including 17 years of age) which can be used for the duration of your stay. There's a lovely indoor pool with fun slide for the children, a luxurious Aqua Spa for the adults, modern gym with plenty of equipment and space. The club has a nice place to grab a coffee or bite to eat so you can make a day of working out, relaxing and refuelling. For golfers, there's an 18 hole course set on the banks of the River Tamar making a picturesque setting. There's also a driving range and family fun crazy golf area. All food, drink and golf items are chargeable at the club. It is essential that you drive by car to the club, it's between 8 and 10 minutes away and really is a fantastic addition to your stay Pet friendly (dogs only) means that before placing your booking and by prior arrangement we will consider a maximum of two small to medium sized dogs. An additional charge of £5 per night per dog will be made and is to be paid separately to the rental charge. Please note we do not allow puppies 12 months or under. The space The natural stone frontage, beamed ceilings, furnishings and fabrics combine to create that ‘homely’ feeling. Laminate flooring is fitted throughout the ground floor presenting a large open plan living area perfect for enjoying your holiday time together. A good size flat screen Television with Freeview and DVD player is provided, as is a washer/dryer, double oven, microwave, large fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle, iron, ironing board and a full complement of crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. This versatile cottage can offer a number of comfortable sleeping arrangements; its main bedroom has a King size bed, the second bedroom is set as a twin room which can be requested as a Super-King double making the accommodation a great choice for two couples. For extra capacity the open plan lounge offers the option of a 4ft sofa bed (suitable for one child up to 12 years of age, charged as an extra at £25 for the stay), alternatively a travel cot (£5 hire charge) or chair bed (for a child up to 6 years of age, £10 hire charge) can be provided in either bedroom if required. Maximum occupancy is for a total of 5 people INCLUDING 1 infant. A high chair for an infant is also available by request (£5 hire charge ). Outside there is a private patio area with patio furniture. One allocated parking space, limited additional overflow parking available. Guest access The home will be yours for the duration of the stay. Outside, additional space includes access to the whole of the Crylla Valley estate with landscaped gardens, large lawn areas for all to enjoy, a woodland walk, wildlife meadow and play park.
