Beautifully renovated 3-bed Cotswold stone cottage sleeping 6 blending 1800s charm with modern comfort and countryside views. Light and spacious with open plan living, a cosy snug, two bathrooms and a large enclosed garden. Set in the tranquil village of Leafield, there are scenic walks from the door and a wonderful pub and village shop just a short stroll away. Some of the Cotswolds’ prettiest towns - like Burford, Charlbury and Woodstock (& Blenheim Palace) - are only minutes away by car. The space The cottage is ideal for families, couples, or groups seeking a relaxing retreat. The open-plan kitchen, dining and living area is perfect for spending time together, while the cost snug offers a quiet spot to unwind at the end of the day. There is an EV charger for guests travelling with an electric vehicle and guests are required to notify in advance if this is needed. The large private garden has direct gated access to the village centre, which includes a fantastic play area - ideal for children to explore and enjoy. Bedrooms All three bedrooms are upstairs, one with a king size bed and en-suite, one with a double bed and the third bedroom with a bunk bed that accommodates both children and adults. All bedrooms have high quality beds and views over the countryside. There is an upstairs bathroom with shower over the bath and w.c. as well as a cloak room and toilet on the ground floor. Living & dining The bright open-plan kitchen, dining, and living space is designed for cooking, relaxing and spending time together. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare meals and entertain. There is also an integrated washer/dryer and ironing board. French doors open directly onto the patio and garden, filling the space with natural light and creating a seamless indoor-outdoor feel, which is perfect for al fresco dining. The main living area has a large Smart TV and you’ll find a selection of books and games. Travel cot (no linen) and high chair is available on request. Wi-Fi is available throughout the cottage. Outdoors The enclosed garden is a peaceful, private space to relax after a day exploring the Cotswolds. It offers dining and seating for 6, a barbecue and chiminea for enjoying cooler evenings outdoors. Parking & EV Charging There is parking for 2 cars on the driveway, plus free on-street parking nearby. An EV charger is available for guests on a pay by what you use and is available on request. Guest access Guest have use of the entire cottage and facilities during their stay. We hope you will find it a home from home and enjoy staying here as much as we do. Other things to note Our charming cottage sits in the peaceful village of Leafield, complete with a village green, a friendly pub serving excellent food, and a community shop just around the corner. The shop is perfect for last‑minute essentials and also sells delicious locally baked bread — including sourdough — with the option to pre‑order. Leafield is a wonderful base for exploring the Cotswolds. You’ll be close to picturesque villages, historic market towns, and some of the region’s best pubs and restaurants. The cottage offers a tranquil escape from the bustle, yet remains only a short drive from places of outstanding natural beauty. We’re just a few minutes from historic Burford and Charlbury, with convenient rail links to Oxford and London from Charlbury station. Popular attractions such as Diddly Squat Farm Shop (Clarkson’s Farm), The Farmer’s Dog pub, Woodstock, Blenheim Palace, Chipping Norton, Daylesford Farm shop and Bourton-on-the-Water are all within 20 mins or less drive. There are also beautiful walks right from the doorstep, with open fields and views across to the Wychwood Forest in a designated area of outstanding natural beauty.
