The Budd-Pafford House, is nestled in the city of Monticello, Fl. Located 30 minutes east of Tallahassee, Fl. Home of the Florida State Seminoles and the Florida A&M Rattlers. The Budd-Pafford House was originally built in 1833, and is Monticello's oldest home. The property is situated on one acre of lush gardens, exotic plants and trees. You can spend hours identifying the different colors and types of Camellias that Bloom from October thru March. The space Jefferson's Quarters features a queen bed, with a pull out sleeper sofa. Decorated with rustic artifacts to represent the Thomas Jefferson era of the 1800's. Features a HD TV with direct TV and Wi-fi. For Special events and large groups or families, upon request can combine second room to make a 2 bedroom, 1 bath suite (the entire 2nd Floor) to accommodate a party of 12 or more. Take advantage of this spacious Suite to accommodate your entire party. Guest access Guess will be able to access the fully equipped kitchen, Laundry room, Dining Room and Living Room. During your stay Management is a phone call away should you need anything during your stay. Other things to note The well manicured grounds cover an entire city block and creates a special sanctuary for birds, squirrels and butterflies. Monticello is known for its famous walking ghost tours to the Confederate cemetery established in 1827, which is located across the street from the Budd-Paddford house. Enjoy a 2 block walk to downtown Monticello and discover the Antique Shops, Restaurants and our famous Court House.
