Stay on a car-free archipelago island in Karlskrona! Wake up to the tranquility of the forest, enjoy good food & drink, and swim from cliffs & piers. When the hot tubs are not privately booked, you are welcome to use them at no extra charge. In the harbor, there is a summer café with ice cream, waffles, shrimp sandwiches & freshly baked pizzas. Boat transport to & from the island is included. Free parking is available on the mainland, and a grocery store is 5 minutes away. Bed linens & towels can be rented for SEK 150/person. Welcome to Säljö Brygga for a relaxing archipelago holiday! The space This cottage is one of four cottages that we have at Säljö and is perfect for up to four people. The cottage is approximately 30 m² and has an open plan with a living room where the kitchen, dining area and sleeping area are combined. There are two single beds that are put together to form a double bed, a small dining area and a fully equipped kitchen with a stovetop, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, coffee maker, as well as dishes, glasses and kitchen utensils. Adjacent to the living room is a smaller bedroom with a bunk bed. To get to the bathroom with shower and toilet, you go through the small bedroom. Outside the cottage, there is a private porch with outdoor furniture where you can enjoy your morning coffee, a good dinner or just relax after a day in the archipelago. Next to the cottage, there is also the possibility to barbecue. Duvets and pillows are provided in the cottage. Bed linen and towels can be rented if you don't want to bring your own. Pets are warmly welcome. The cottages are simple, cozy and built to let nature and the archipelago take center stage - here, the tranquility, the sea and the experiences are the real luxury Guest access As a guest, you have access to the entire cottage with its own porch and a common barbecue area. You will also have access to large parts of Säljö and can freely enjoy the island's common areas. Take a walk through the woods, swim from the cliffs or the jetty, fish from the harbor, or sit back and enjoy the fantastic archipelago environment. During your stay, you also have access to: • Optimist dinghy that can be borrowed free of charge (children accompanied by an adult) • The hostel's common social areas where you are welcome to play ping pong or pool • Kayaks (rental) • The harbor and Säljö Brygga's café during our opening hours • Service building with cleaning equipment as well as a washing machine and dryer (SEK 70 per wash and per dry) We wish you a fantastic stay and hope you get to experience the best of Säljö – saltwater swimming, beautiful nature and the special archipelago feeling that makes the island so popular. Other things to note • Hot tubs – as an added bonus, we offer our cabin guests the opportunity to use the hot tubs when the sun deck is not booked for a private group or corporate event. When the sun deck is open, the hot tubs are free to use for both cabin guests and harbor guests. Need to Know: * The hot tubs are included as a free bonus for our cabin guests. * They cannot be reserved as part of the cottage accommodation. * We therefore cannot guarantee that they will be available throughout your stay or give advance notice of when they will be available. * If the sundeck is available, just hop in and enjoy! Would you like to have the sun deck all to yourselves? Cabin guests can book the entire sun deck with both hot tubs for SEK 1,200 for 2 hours, subject to availability. • Boat transport Säljö is a car-free island and can only be reached by boat. Boat transport to the island at check-in and back to the mainland at check-out is included in the accommodation. Transportation takes place at pre-booked and agreed-upon times. During their stay, guests are responsible for any transportation to and from the island. In some cases, we can, subject to time and availability, help with an extra crossing during the day by arrangement. This needs to be booked well in advance and cannot be guaranteed. • Säljö is a car-free island where tranquility, nature and archipelago life are at the center. Please bring comfortable shoes so that you can explore the island's lovely trails and swimming areas. • Grocery store, pharmacy and other services are available in Lyckeby, about 5 minutes from the parking lot on the mainland. The center of Karlskrona, with a larger selection of restaurants, shops and shopping, is about 15 minutes away by car. • During the summer, we run the cabins, the hostel, the café and the harbor together with family and friends. You will therefore meet both us, our staff, and other guests during your stay. • At Säljö Brygga, there is a service area with full rights. There, according to Swedish law, it is not allowed to bring your own food or beverages. If you bring your own food or beverages, our picnic tables are available on the wooden dock right next door, where you are most welcome to sit down. • Pets are most welcome. We ask that you show consideration for other guests and keep dogs on a leash near the café and other common areas. • If you have any questions before or during your stay, you are always very welcome to reach out.
