A walk around the ramparts in nearby Penela castle has great views towards the Serra de Lousã and the Parque Biological Zoo in Miranda do Corvo will keep the children entertained for several hours. Wild river beaches, a short journey away offer an exciting alternative to the normal beach. On foot you can take off on numerous local paths to explore the nearby countryside.
