Welcome to our historic home, surrounded by a blooming garden of roses, fruit trees, and berry bushes. Carefully restored since 2025, the house has reclaimed its timeless soul. This former priest’s home rests above the fjord, just 40 minutes from Bergen city centre, in a quiet fishing village — a gentle place to slow down, breathe deeply, and let the calm of nature embrace you. The space On the first floor, you’ll find a large kitchen, two living rooms, a library, a toilet, a hallway, and a laundry room with a washing machine. The second floor has four double bedrooms, a bathroom with a toilet, and an additional separate toilet. Our garden is spacious and features several seating areas, fruit trees, many berry bushes, and even rhubarb. Please help yourself if they are ripe. Further down the garden, you’ll also find an old, traditional potato cellar. Near the parking area, there are hiking trails and a playground located about 200 meters into the forest. Guest access You have access to all the rooms described in the listing. Some rooms will be locked and contain our personal belongings. Here you’ll find two supermarkets (Kiwi and Rema 1000, both open from 07:00-23:00 on weekdays), as well as Vinmonopolet (the Norwegian state liquor store), a hardware store, pharmacy, a Thai takeaway food truck (highly recommended), a fitness center, gas stations, and plenty of EV charging points. About 20 minutes away is Sartor Center, a large shopping area where you can find everything you might need. Just contact us if you have any questions.
