Palm Springs Retreat Hunter Valley
Description
Heritage charm meets desert luxe in the Hunter Valley. Step inside a colourful desert daydream at Palm Springs Retreat - a stylish, art-filled getaway in a beautifully reimagined 1920s co-op building. Once the local butcher shop and cold store for the Aberdare Co-Op (est. 1919), the building now oozes Palm Springs flair - think bold colours, curated art, eclectic decor, and a cactus garden worthy of its own photoshoot. Please note the garden and pool area are shared spaces. The space Sleeps 4 guests in retro-modern comfort • Bedroom 1: King bed • Bedroom 2: King Bed Each bedroom is cool, calm and curated with plush bedding, high ceilings, and vintage vibes. Please note while the retreat is three bedrooms you are booking two bedrooms ONLY, the other bedroom will be locked for the duration of your visit. If you wish to use the three bedrooms please book the three bedroom rate. Living area that pops The open-plan living and dining space is bold, bright and beautiful - with plush velvet seating, a sunny mustard armchair, mid-century pieces, and statement art everywhere you look. Pour a wine, sink into a lounge, flip through an art book, or pop on some tunes and soak up the good vibes. Two luxe bathrooms • Deep soaking tub + zebra-print chair = iconic. • Huge walk-in rain shower • Industrial finishes meet warm tones • Polished concrete floors throughout Every detail is thoughtful, tactile, and totally photogenic. Your own cactus garden paradise Step outside to a resort-style cactus garden straight out of Palm Springs. Palm trees sway overhead, cacti and succulents line the pathways, and a sparkling pool invites you to float the day away. Morning coffee on the verandah? Sunset drinks under the palms? Yoga among the agaves? It’s all possible here. Please note the garden and pool are shared areas with the hosts although we try to stay out of the way of our guests but happy to say hi.
