The Grey / Family Suite Burnside Cottage B&B Nc500

Burnside Cottage is a Green Tourism Gold Award boutique B&B situated on the north coast of Scotland. Conveniently located 1/2 a mile from the Pentland (Orkney) Ferry & 800m off the NC500. Ideal for John O'Groats and the Castle of Mey. We source our food locally where possible. We have an alcohol licence and offer an extensive Evening Menu & run a Vegan menu alongside our omni menu. We have a separate guest entrance & serve all meals via room service. Inclusive business 🌈 We accept dogs🐕 The space Burnside Cottage B&B was developed from a former croft house. In 2020 we installed a separate entrance for our two guest suites (The Raven Room, a ground floor twin en-suite, along with The Grey Suite). Both suites are spacious with their own dining areas and all meals are now served via room service. The Grey Suite has a king size bed & en-suite. It can be booked with an attached room that contains a set of 3' bunk beds turning it into a family suite (please note that the attached room has no outside access). The room contains both a sofa and dining area. The Suite contains a mini fridge with bottles of water & fresh milk. There is a kettle & a selection of Clipper fairtrade teas & coffee's. It is dog friendly by arrangement although a £20 one off supplement is charged (we support three dog charities and donate this to them. Balkan Underdogs UK, muffin pug rescue and DAWGdogs). Guest access In response to C.19 we installed a guest entrance to enable our visitors entry straight into the guest wing (this feeds just two rooms - The Raven Room & The Grey Suite). We have updated our rooms, which are spacious, & they now all come with both a seating & dining area with TV mini fridge and tea/coffee facilities. All meals now served via room service.
