'Pelican Nest’ 2 bedrooms +‘Lorikeet Lodge’ a comfy space with kitchenette plus a full bathroom. Dangar is a magical island in the mouth of mystical Dyarubbin, the Hawkesbury River. Inspiring artists and writers for generations, the island is easily reached from the CBD by train and ferry. The space A picturesque 5 minute walk from ferry wharf along mostly unsealed tracks and parkland to the side entrance of property. Access to 2 cabins facing across a firepit courtyard. All spaces have access to wifi. 'Pelican Nest ': a cabin that houses 2 bedrooms both with ceiling fans. 1: Couples room with double bed, desk and double wardrobe 2: A bunk room housing a lower double bed and upper single bed plus a sofa converting to double bed with a chest drawers and a games cupboard. Also a TV with streaming device. 'Lorikeet Lodge' cabin has 3 spaces. Family room with Kitchenette including wall mounted smart TV, wide seat single sofa for 2, table and chairs. Kitchen area has a full sink unit, cutlery drawers and cooking utensils, bar size fridge, air fryer, microwave, IKEA induction hotplate, electric jug, toaster and sandwich press. Crockery, and cutlery provided. Folding doors allow for 2.5 metre opening onto 1m wide verandah. Lorikeet Lodge also houses a full bathroom with toilet and washbasin. Shower fixed and flexible rose and separate bath taps allow for all bathroom needs. Lorikeet Lodge also houses the shared (with host only) laundry and access to the raised furnished children's cubby house. You also have use of a full size fridge/freezer for drinks plus games eqt. on the rear deck of host house. Also on the property is a splash (2m diameter) pool , a netted trampoline, child's circular swing (at the front of the property, nets for badminton, tennis and other ballgames. Guest access The 'Lodge and Nest Cabins face across a firepit area and connected by a covered boardwalk with 2-3 steps making easy, but not wheelchair friendly, access. This makes up your private home with a large backyard. Host will share the laundry room in the Lodge but that's all. Other things to note Dangar island access is well served by NSW transport with Ferry from Brooklyn and (Hawkesbury River) train station which is 3 minutes walk from the ferry wharf.
