Colonel Park Suite - The Main Street Inn

The Col. Park Suite is located upstairs at the front of one of Parkville’s oldest and most famous homes. Its many windows look out over a garden brick patio with running water fountain and down onto Parkville’s old town Main Street. This well furnished and preserved room has a large jacuzzi tub, glass-block shower, bistro set for two and is fully renovated to a delicate balance of old and new. With one of the original 1885 brick walls exposed and period furnishings decorating the suite, comfort and privacy are a natural part of staying in one of the premier guest suites. Great attention to detail makes the Col. Park Suite a place to retreat to and enjoy life at a slower pace. Guest access With each reservation, guests have 24hr access to their chosen room. Additionally, our Friendship Memorial Gallery and Guest Lounge are just steps away from your room and our beautiful front porch is just down the stairs. Our dining room is open for breakfast service in the morning. During your stay Jason and Kathy, the Owners+Innkeepers, do live on site but may not always be there. Check in times, changes, or any communications prior to your arrival or during your stay are very important to us. Other things to note Breakfast Tradition: At the Main Street Inn, we serve a full 3-course breakfast! The 1st course is homemade bread and fresh French pressed coffee. This course is delivered to your room at 7:30am. (a light knock at the door alerts you to when it has arrived – no you don’t have to answer the door) The remaining 2 courses (a fruit course and a hot course) are served around our dining room table at 8:30am. Our menu is chef’s choice and is prepared seasonally. Please notify us at the time your reservation is made of any special dietary needs. We understand that not everyone eats breakfast, or some guests would prefer to sleep in a little longer. Please let us know at check-in if you would prefer not to partake in part or all of our breakfast tradition. If you choose not to eat breakfast, or have an early departure without breakfast, we are sorry, but there is no discount / refund / credit issued for not eating breakfast. With 48-hour notice, we will gladly put together a “breakfast-to-go-bag” that will be ready for those who need to leave early. Our ‘breakfast-to-go-bag” typically consists of homemade bread or muffins, fruit and/or yogurt & homemade granola, orange juice & to-go cups for coffee. If you are staying in one of our suites you can add a ‘private breakfast for two’ to your reservation and enjoy your breakfast in your room! Simply add this indulgent extra to your stay when making your reservation. If, as a guest of the Main Street Inn, you would like to invite a friend or family member to join you for breakfast at the Inn, it can be accommodated in most circumstances. Please prearrange this with us, a breakfast charge of $15 will be added to the guest bill at the time the request is authorized.
