The Calder Overlook

Cozy 1976 cabin‑style home overlooking the stunning St. Joe River. Perched on the Calder hillside, this getaway sits just steps from the Calder boat launch. Big Creek is only 4.5 miles away and Huckleberry Campground is a quick 5‑mile drive. Spend your summer days fishing the St. Joe, floating the river, or riding your ATV on nearby trails. The area is rich with wildlife—guests often spot moose, elk, deer, turkeys, bobcats, and eagles right from the property or nearby trails. The space Sleeping Areas (sleeps up to 8): - Top Floor has 2 bedrooms: 1 queen bed and 1 full - Bottom Floor has 1 bedroom with queen bed and rec-room with a queen futon. Work space is located on bottom floor at the foot of the stairs. Board and card games are in the dining room and bedroom 2. There are plenty of towels and linens in the linen closet next to top floor bathroom. Bathrooms have TP. Paper towels, salt and pepper, and Kirkland brand coffee in pantry in kitchen. Guest access Guests have access to all spaces except 3 locked utility closets located in the laundry room, next to downstairs work pace, and in downstairs bedroom. Other things to note Friendly dogs welcome, neighbors have dogs too. Responsible for cleaning up after your pets.
