The space Bon Accord House is a beautifully restored heritage property located right in the heart of Singleton, offering a rare combination of historic charm, generous proportions and modern comfort. Built in the late 1800s and known locally as Bon Accord, the building has long been part of Singleton’s story. Local accounts suggest it once operated as a pharmacy, serving the community generations ago. Today, it has been thoughtfully transformed into welcoming accommodation that honours its past while providing an easy, comfortable place to stay. We are also situated on the highway so at certain times of the day there can be some noise from all the passing trucks & traffic. Guest access Guests will have exclusive use of the apartment, which is one of three private residences within the building. This apartment is located on the ground level and is identified as 9A, positioned on the bottom left when facing the building from the street. Access is simple and straightforward, with self check-in available for convenience. While the building is shared, each apartment is fully self-contained and designed to ensure privacy and a comfortable stay. Guests are asked to be mindful of other residents within the building, particularly when coming and going. Other things to note Bon Accord House enjoys an unbeatable central Singleton location. Step outside and you’re within easy walking distance of the town’s pubs, clubs, cafés, shops and everyday conveniences. One of the Hunter’s most loved cafés, Worn Out Wares, is just a short stroll down the road and is a local favourite for great coffee and brunch. Being so centrally located means you can leave the car parked and enjoy the town on foot. The property also makes an excellent base for exploring the wider Hunter Valley. World-class vineyards, cellar doors and wedding venues are only a 20 minute drive away, allowing you to enjoy wine tasting and events during the day before returning to the comfort and convenience of town in the evening.
