The space Our charming Norwegian farmhouse offers authentic rural Norwegian living in traditional style with classic Nordic design elements. The ground floor features a welcoming living room with a large wood-burning fireplace, TV corner, and dining area with seating for 10 guests. The kitchen is fully equipped with stove, dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator-freezer, plus a practical cold storage room. The bathroom has a shower, toilet, washing machine and dryer with comfortable underfloor heating. On the first floor, you'll find four bedrooms – one with a double bed and three with single beds that can be combined. The extra lounge can function as a fifth sleeping area. Note that one bedroom is only accessible through this lounge. The outdoor area is a sunny oasis with spectacular views over Lake Rødenessjøen, outdoor dining area and a unique antique brewing pan used as a charcoal grill – a traditional Norwegian touch. Guest access As a guest, you have access to the entire house and the large garden. You are welcome to harvest from the kitchen garden when herbs, vegetables, and berries are in season. The shoreline 300 meters from the house is available for swimming, with shallow water that is excellent for children. Boat rental is available separately by arrangement for fishing trips (good conditions for pike and perch). Fiber internet is available throughout the house. Other things to note The house is available year-round, with a wood-burning fireplace and electric heaters for the winter months. Parties are not permitted out of consideration for neighbors and the peaceful character of the place. Pets are unfortunately not allowed due to allergy concerns. Perfect location for excursions – 15 min to Ørje, 25 min to Töcksfors shopping centers, and only 1 hour from Oslo. Many local hiking opportunities, and the historic Rødenes medieval church is only 1 km away.
