Green View Cottage is a picturesque stone built cottage opposite Bainbridge village green. Rated as 5 Star Gold by Visit England, the cottage sleeps up to six people in three bedrooms. With its welcoming interior and beautiful terraced back garden, Green View is a favourite with couples and families, including those with dogs. The cottage provides access to scenic walks and cycling straight from the door, with a local butcher, 2 cafes and community shop less than a three minute walk away. The space Green View Cottage has been a successful holiday let for many years, and is maintained to a very high standard, demonstrated by its Five Star Gold Award from Visit England. The cottage is equipped with everything you need to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. A starter pack of complementary tea, coffee and milk is provided so you feel at home as soon as you walk though the door. Guests also enjoy a welcome hamper of Yorkshire Produce-that even includes treats for our four legged guests! On the ground floor, the cottage enjoys a separate utility room, a separate dining room and an open plan lounge and kitchen. In the fully equipped kitchen you will find a dishwasher, air fryer, induction hob, oven, microwave, kettle. toaster, Nespresso coffee machine, milk frother, and large fridge/freezer. The lounge has a log burner with a starter pack of logs provided. And just in case you happen to have a rainy day, guests can also enjoy a very well stocked cupboard containing books, DVDs, games and walking guides. Upstairs, you will find 3 bedrooms: 1 ensuite double, 1 twin room and 1 single room (which can be made into a twin bedded room using a very comfortable trundle bed). The house bathroom contains a spa bath, shower and a Bluetooth mirror. Hand soap, body lotion, bed linen and towels are provided. At the rear of the property you will find our beautiful terraced gardens, equipped with a table and chairs for 6, a water feature and a BBQ-everything you need to relax and enjoy this lovely space. Private parking is provided for one car at the rear of the property. In addition, there is plenty of on street parking at the front of the cottage. Locked bike storage is also available on request. Other things to note Being at the bottom of a valley, some phone signals are poor for standard texts and phone calls. Green View Cottage has high speed internet, therefore WiFi related messages and calls work well. For our guests with pets, we kindly ask guests to ensure that no sign of the pet is evident on departure, either inside or outside the property. Pets must not be allowed upstairs in the property or on any furniture, and should not be left unattended in the property. The garden has high stone walls. Guests and pets should not sit or stand on the walls, and children and pets must be supervised at all times when using the garden. The garden and the cottage have steps which may not be suitable for people with mobility issues. The property is fitted with smoke and carbon monoxide alarms which issue an audible warning, but may not be heard by guests who are deaf or hard of hearing.
