This terraced cottage stands in the heart of the Broadland village of Coltishall and is within a 10-minute stroll of the River Bure and adjacent river green. Wroxham, the capital of the Broads, is 3 miles away, where day boats can be hired and trips taken to explore the Broads. Stylishly restored, Time Cottage offers outstanding comfort, featuring a mix of antique and contemporary design. A stable door leads to the enclosed courtyard garden, and there is a lockable outhouse large enough to store bikes and canoes should you wish to bring those along with you on holiday. The village of Coltishall offers four inns with restaurants, Chinese and Indian takeaways, a fish & chip shop, two butchers shops (one incorporating a delicatessen), a tea room, two general stores, a chemist and three hairdressers, all within walking distance of the cottage. The Bure Valley Steam Railway can be caught from Coltishall to visit either Wroxham or the market town of Aylsham, near Blickling. Within a 30-minute drive there are excellent sandy beaches at Mundersley, Happisburgh and Sea Palling, or visit the city of Norwich with its theatre, castle museum, two indoor shopping centres, a market square, art galleries, cafés and restaurants. The area is excellent for birdwatching and the network of roads and lanes make it popular with cyclists. National Trust properties nearby include Blickling Hall, Felbrigg Hall and Sheringham Park.
