Situated on a 1200ha private game reserve, just 290km’s north of OR Tambo International airport, outside of Vaalwater in the Malaria Free Waterberg, Limpopo. Izintaba Lodge offers self catering & catered accommodation in a fully equipped self catering lodge that sleeps 19 people in 3 ensuite bedrooms downstairs, all with king sized beds, 2 bedrooms upstairs 1 with 5 singles, the other 4 & a large loft room with 3 singles and a sleeper couch. This lodge has its own private braai area, lapa & pool The space Izintaba is a beautiful 1200ha private game reserve in the Malaria free Waterberg bush in Limpopo, with varying topography from mountains and kloofs, to large open plains and all the general plains game species roaming freely on the farm. We have no dangerous animals on the game farm, so it is perfectly safe to walk, run, mountain bike, hike or simply relax. Smell the fresh air, experience the dark nights and enjoy the peace and quite of the bush at your own pace, in your own time. Guest access Guests will have private access to the entire lodge, own swimming pool, braai area, bar with pool table and fire pit to enjoy African experiences in the bush. We provide you with a map of the reserve on arrival. You are welcome to do your own game drives, bush walks, hikes & trail runs or explore the many tracks and paths on your mountain bike. Make use of the picnic sites, swimming pool & sunset decks or swim, paddle & fish in our large dam. Your home in the bush. Guided game drives can be booked at R240 per person. Meals can be enjoyed in the Burkea Boma at R330 per person for a 3 course dinner or R260 per person for breakfast, minimum of 6 people. Meals are set and need to be booked at least one week in advance. More basic ready made meals can be delivered to your cottage. Other things to note Cell phone reception is limited. There is free WiFi in the Burkea Boma which is a comfortable communal area with couches and chairs & tables should you need to work away from home.
