The accommodations on our farm KUHN Rathebur offer quiet, cozy and bright apartments on the ground floor of a new farmhouse. Modern amenities, comfortable rooms, as well as cozy common areas create an inviting atmosphere. The outdoor area with garden, green areas and quiet places invites you to linger. Proximity to hiking and leisure opportunities completes the offer. Overall a charming, relaxed stay in a rural ambience. The space The quiet, cozy and bright apartment "Apartment 2" is located on the ground floor of a new building and offers optimal space for 2 people on 50 square meters, but can also be used by up to 4 people by arrangement. It is characterized by an open room concept and consists of a living room corner with TV and fireplace, kitchen with dining area and sleeping area with a queen-size box spring bed (160 x 200 cm). There is also a small sofa bed (approx. 130 x 200 cm) and a chair bed (80 x 200 cm) available for you. We use HappyBed duvets in our guest apartments. These duvets are fully washable. This means that not only the duvet cover, but the entire duvet is cleaned regularly. The kitchenette is comfortably equipped. From the spacious entrance area, you can access the bathroom, which has a toilet and shower. An initial set of kitchen and bathroom supplies is available on arrival. The front terrace invites you to linger and relax. Here, you will find a stylish garden table with a bench and two garden chairs, perfect for a relaxing breakfast outdoors or a good book. For sun worshipers, there are also two comfortable garden loungers. For a cozy evening under the stars, a fire pit with a tripod grill and firewood is available to you. On the farm, each apartment also has a small shed to store bicycles or similar in a dry place. In addition to all this, you are free to use the common areas. FACILITIES In the apartment: Air conditioning, Wi-Fi use free of charge Living area: Small sofa bed (sleeping area approx. 130 x 200 cm), sleeping chair (sleeping area approx. 80 x 200 cm), flat-screen TV with all the usual TV channels, fireplace, firewood and lighter Kitchenette: Fridge with freezer, induction stovetop with four burners, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker / coffee pod machine, kettle, toaster, egg boiler, air fryer, hand blender / immersion blender, cookware and cooking utensils, extras such as tea, coffee, oils & spices, baking paper, napkins, dish towels, dishwasher tablets, cleaning supplies Dining area: Dining table with four chairs, dinnerware set for 6 people, glasses and other accessories Sleeping area: Box spring bed 1.60 x 2.00 m (with washable HappyBed duvets), flat-screen TV with all the usual TV channels, large mirror, luggage bench, dresser, hanging facilities Shower room/toilet (with window): Glass shower enclosure, shower mat, towels, floor mats, soap dispenser, facial tissues, vanity mirror, hairdryer, toilet paper Patio: Garden table with stool bench and 2 garden chairs, 2 garden loungers, fire bowl with tripod grill, firewood Guest access Farm terrace & farm pub You are welcome to use the courtyard bar, which offers billiards, table tennis, air hockey, and darts, as well as games and books, provided you use them responsibly. The courtyard terrace with outdoor kitchen offers opportunities to eat in larger groups. (However, use of the outdoor kitchen appliances is possible only upon request and in consultation.) You can also make yourself comfortable in the garden and listen to the birds chirping, the chickens clucking, and the sheep bleating. Guest garden In the directly adjacent guest garden, vegetables and herbs may be harvested. Where available, we will also provide you with seasonal fruit and vegetable baskets from our own garden. Holiday Lingerie On request, we will provide you with a washing machine and a dryer in the outbuilding for your vacation laundry. An iron, steam iron, etc. can also be borrowed. Other things to note Our apartments are in the immediate vicinity of our residential building. The farms are connected and are managed by us daily. So, we are always on site for you!
