The Vernay balcony

The Le Balcon de Vernay cottage is a warm house set on the heights, with unobstructed views, a large garden and terrace. The perfect place for hiking, forest walks, evenings with friends, barbecues or quiet family holidays. In this beautiful village perched above Beaujeu (historical capital of Beaujolais), you can enjoy a preserved environment, without neighbors, overlooking the hills, the bell tower and the valley (and even Mont-Blanc in clear weather). The space An old renovated stone farmhouse, surrounded by forests with an amazing view. Warm interior, large exposed beams, friendly kitchen, bright bedrooms... Everything is designed for moments of sharing: meals around the large table, aperitifs/grills on the terrace, fireplace and game nights. Up to 8 guests - 3 bedrooms with double beds (one bedroom with its private bathroom + a 2nd shower room) - 1 sofa bed in the living room - Extra beds on request or subject to conditions CAUTION: - This cottage is on the 1st floor with a narrow staircase, it is unfortunately not suitable for people with reduced mobility - It's an old house that's also in the countryside, so you can see small visitors (spiders, insects, etc.), dust - Vernay is a small village where calm reigns, so you have to comply with this rule ;) - No shops on site (bakery, grocery store, tobacco shop are 5 km away) Finally, as you will have understood, this is our vacation home, it is not a 5-star hotel, with the advantages and disadvantages that come with it.
