Note about electricity and power cuts Alibaug is a semi-rural area and occasional power cuts are common. There is regular daily interruption, and on Tuesdays there is scheduled load shedding—typically from about 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM. During power cuts, lights, fans, TV, and the internet remain available; however, high-power appliances such as the air conditioner, refrigerator, microwave, and geyser may not work temporarily. Power cuts can be more frequent and last longer during the monsoon season. If uninterrupted 24/7 power or constant use of heavy appliances is essential for your stay, this location may not be the best fit. . . . . However, as mentioned in our detailed brochure sent to you 4 days prior to arrival, you can easily order food via Zomato or enjoy local Gavran homemade meals prepared by our staff.
