Mountain lodge at 1,800 m - sauna, fireplace & close to the ski lift

Our family-friendly alpine lodge is an original Carinthian log cabin, built in 1975 at around 1,800 metres above sea level. It combines the rustic charm of a traditional alpine hut with modern amenities. The space The heart of the house is the spacious living area on the ground floor, featuring a cosy sofa, dining table, fully equipped kitchen and fireplace. Also on the ground floor are a bathroom with shower and a practical storage room with a washing machine. On the upper floor, there are three bedrooms accommodating a total of six people, an additional bathroom with a bathtub, and the sauna. An additional third floor offers a relaxation room. The house faces south, also features three terraces, and offers a magnificent view of the Falkert panorama. The hut also includes a covered parking space. A well-stocked supermarket can be reached in around ten minutes by car. Surroundings: The entire area around Lake Falkert is easily accessible on foot directly from the alpine lodge. In the immediate vicinity, you will find the idyllic Lake Falkert, varied via ferrata routes, attractive mountain bike trails, and numerous hiking routes – including a stage of the well-known Alpe-Adria Trail. The location is equally impressive in winter: the family ski area “Heidi Alm”, the cross-country ski trail, and the illuminated toboggan run are just a few steps from the alpine lodge, ensuring unforgettable winter experiences. Thanks to its central location in Carinthia, many other excursion destinations are also easily accessible by car. Within just a few minutes’ drive, you can reach the impressive Nockalm Road or the lakeside bathing areas at Lake Millstatt. During the winter season, the ski areas of Bad Kleinkirchheim, Turracher Höhe, and Hochrindl are also quick and easy to reach.
