An Teallach

An Teallach is a thoughtfully designed holiday home in Balmullo, Fife, created by its architect owners at Forge Design Studio. Named after the Highland mountain range and translating as The Forge, it reflects quality, craftsmanship, and careful design throughout. Set in peaceful countryside with open views and private parking, it offers a quiet escape while accommodating up to ten guests in line with its licence. The space Living Space and Bedrooms The open plan living area forms the heart of the home, centred around a wood burning stove. Large corner windows and carefully placed glazing maximise natural light and frame the countryside views. A separate snug offers a cosy setting for quieter evenings, while the study provides an additional space to work or unwind. There are four bedrooms in total. Two of the larger rooms feature zip-and-link super king beds, which can be used either as a super king for couples or separated into two singles. The third bedroom has a king bed, while the bunk room includes a double bed with a single above and a trundle below, making it particularly suitable for children. Three bedrooms have en suite bathrooms with walk in showers. The principal bedroom includes a bath within the room, and there is also a family bathroom with a bath upstairs. A double sofa bed in the study adds flexibility to sleeping arrangements. Kitchen and Dining The modern kitchen is fully equipped for group stays, with generous work surfaces, a dishwasher, and an extending dining table seating up to ten guests. A separate boot room and utility area, with an additional dishwasher, add practicality. A bar area just off the kitchen makes entertaining easy.
