The Barn - Hogstul Cabins - Tuddal

The barn has a canopy bed (150x200 cm) and bunk bed (80x200). Suitable for up to 4 people. Wood stove + electric heating. Stove with two hobs and oven. Refrigerator. Simple kitchenware. Dining table. No running water - common sanitary facilities must be used. NOK 10 per 5 minutes for shower. Bench table in the outdoor area. Only rented out during the period April - October. The space Hogstul Cabins was originally an old mountain farm. Now most of the buildings have been converted into rental cabins. 10 cabins are located in quiet and peaceful surroundings, 3 km from the main road. 3 cabins and 2 apartments have running water, shower, toilet and TV. All cabins have electricity with cooking facilities, refrigerator, kitchen utensils and wireless internet. There are shared sanitary facilities for the cabins without running water, as well as camping guests. Shared washing machine and tumble dryer. There is room for some tents and motorhomes in the summer. There are fishing opportunities and lots of berries to find. Boats and canoes for free rental for guests. Great hiking possibilities from Hogstul Cabins in summer and winter. Marked trail, and forest roads suitable for cycling. Approx. 20 min drive to parking/starting point Gaustatoppen (summer). Hogstul Cabins is about 45 minutes from Rjukan and Notodden and about an hour from Bø Sommarland. Other things to note Dogs are allowed on request when they are not in the habit of lying in beds and furniture. It costs NOK 100 per day and is payable on arrival.
