Lovely rural house in beautiful Othem

Unique, beautiful former mission house with generous social areas and wonderful garden. Rural and eco-friendly with a fresh outdoor toilet, comfortable outdoor shower with hot water and outdoor sink. No toilet or shower inside! The house is very pleasant with a fantastic social room of about 50 sqm and over 4 meters in ceiling height. It is very nicely located with proximity to both coasts. If you want to try an alternative accommodation with an eco-feel, this is something for you! We have chosen to save the environment by composting, washing by hand, washing dishes and showering outside (with hot water) and using an outdoor toilet. No toilet, no indoor water! There is an open TV room/bedroom upstairs as well as a separate bedroom with double bed. Downstairs we have the kitchen, a bedroom with 2-4 beds in two comfortable bunk beds that are assembled into a double bed (easy to pull apart) and a large, cozy living room. There is access to patios, gas grill, hammocks, bicycles, outdoor toys. Guest access The house is 100% yours when you rent it. Other things to note The pictures with water are examples of a couple of our favorite excursions here in the most beautiful northern Gotland with both the sea and limestone quarries. Fårö with its unique long beach, Norsta Aure, with the most beautiful sand. It's so beautiful! You will receive a description of how to get there and to other excursion destinations by email. You will have to bring your own bed linens and towels! Kitchen towels are available. Basic spices are available. A warm welcome!
