The Big House in the Vineyards

Welcome to our home! We live in this typical Girondist house in the Entre-Deux-Mers region, between Saint-Émilion and Créon. Bordeaux is 45 minutes away, Libourne is 20 minutes away, the swimming lake of Blasimon is 10 minutes away, and the Bassin d'Arcachon is 1 hour away. Our house is ideal for families and groups of friends: 4 queen-size beds + 1 sofa bed + 1 pull-out bed. It can accommodate 11 people. Our garden is equipped with a play structure, and in the summer, we set up a large above-ground pool. The space The house consists of: - A large entrance leading to a 55-square-meter (600-square-foot) kitchen-dining room / 1 bathroom / 1 toilet / 1 laundry room / 1 living room (TV, wood-burning stove, stereo system). This living room, in turn, leads to: a games room/office opening onto a covered terrace / 1 library in the house's former dovecote. - Upstairs, you will find: 1 bathroom with bathtub and toilet, 1 children's bedroom with 1 pull-out bed and 1 armchair, 1 double bedroom, and 1 large master suite with bathroom. A large terrace with barbecue provides outdoor dining space. A barn is available for storing bikes. Parking is available in the inner courtyard. The garden behind the house has a play structure for children, a covered terrace, two wood storage areas, and 1 above-ground pool in summer. The house is equipped with two wood-burning stoves that you can use for cozy evenings by the fire. This house is our primary residence. We therefore ask you to take the utmost care of it and to return it in the same condition in which you found it. We also have an old cat named Michel (he is rather timid and lives mostly outside) and a small female cat named Molly. We would greatly appreciate it if you could add kibble to their bowls and give them fresh water during your stay. Guest access A key box will allow you to check in to the house independently and check out whenever you want. The black sliding gate opens manually.
