85 m², quiet, magnificent view of the Gulf of Ajaccio, air conditioning

In the small village of Coti Chiavari, at an altitude of 500 m, we rent our house in the countryside, which is a haven of rest with a superb sea view. Ideal for a family who wants to visit Corsica, close to the most beautiful beaches on the west coast. For hikers and nature lovers, it is a sought-after area ( the mare e monti path passes through the village) . Bicycle, Horse, hike… Beach, Jetski, water sports… Be careful, countryside = small animals! And Corsica = winding roads!! The space Our accommodation is located at the bottom of the village. Our house is very simple, it is a second home where we come frequently. So we leave our belongings there, but in each room a closet is cleared for your belongings. Please note that it is not suitable for young children, as the terrace is not enclosed by barriers all the way around. On the ground floor there is a living room/kitchen of about 25 m², an independent toilet, a bedroom of 9 m² (double bed 140) with its bathroom and a storage closet. The kitchen has everything you need for a pleasant vacation: fridge, freezer, microwave, oven, Senseo coffee maker, toaster, kettle. The bay window opens onto the great "plus" of our house: the terrace of about 100 m² with a magnificent sea view. Upstairs there is a bedroom with a single bed and a closet, a bedroom with a double bed of 160 cm with a closet, and a bathroom with toilet. Washer. Air conditioning in bedrooms and living room/kitchen. Coti is a small village where there is only a library, La Poste, and a small restaurant "Chez Vero". You have to go shopping in Porticcio (35 min). There is a small convenience store 3 km away as well as the restaurant "Le Belvédère". Otherwise, you have to go down to Ajaccio or Propriano, about 45 minutes from the house, to have a bigger choice of stores. As a reminder, Corsican roads are often winding! It takes about 25 minutes to get to Plage d’Argent (the famous Plage de Mare e Sol), one of the most beautiful beaches on this side of the island, with its fine sand. Linens provided: bed linen according to the number of people, one beach towel per person, one bath towel per person, a dish towel, bath mat and 2 hand towels. We are on fertile land, so the very steep garden is difficult to maintain, making it inaccessible for our tenants, and it doesn't always look its best! But the terrace is more than enough! If you are only renting for two, I suggest you use the other listing, which is just for renting the lower level of the villa and allows for a reduced cleaning fee. Guest access The terrace is not secure at the front edge for the sea view. Otherwise the entire house is accessible except for a closet with our reserves, and a condemned room to put our things. Other things to note I'll note here, no small children. The terrace has a barrier on only one side, the highest. But no barrier at the end of the terrace. So no danger for adults and older children because there is only one meter of height at the end of the terrace, but that is enough for a young child to get hurt if he falls. On the other hand, if your baby is not yet walking, there is a high chair and a baby cot available. Upon checkout, we ask that you please leave the house tidy, the dishwasher emptied, and the garbage pails emptied. The concierge is there to clean, but not to tidy up and put everything back in order. Any additional cleaning that is required beyond the standard cleaning, or any damage found, will be charged through the Resolution Center, and we will of course send you the supporting photos.
