The space The House is fully equipped for a perfect weekend getaway or a longer stay. What to expect: Spectacular sunsets and Incredible mountain range views on all sides Birdlife, eagles, Kangaroos, wallabies and the occasional deer Unpredictable weather and tends to be cool ( so bring some warm gear especially if you plan to be outside) 100 acres of wild bush and paddock to explore. What’s here: The house has - Stylish Living room and Dining room with wood burning stove to ensure the perfect mood. There is a small heater too if needed. - Full kitchen ( Stove, Oven, large fridge, sinks and cutlery, coffee plunger, toaster, kettle) - Outdoor seating and dining area - Separate bedroom with King bed and french white linen - Modern Bathroom with shower - Laundry (Clothes washer) - We use rainwater and have electricity Guest access The house will be yours to use. Feel free to explore more than 100 acres of wild bush and alpine environments. How to get here: The house is accessed via a 15 km steep all-vehicle gravel road through the back of the town of Michelago (30 min south of Canberra). This is also the nearest shop and petrol station so bring everything with you. We suggest you arrive in daylight as there are no entry lights. The surroundings Closest towns: We are 15 min from Michelago and 40 min from Canberra. We are 1 hour from Cooma and 2 hours from Snowy Mountains. We are close to both Namadji National park and Tinderry National park which offer bushwalking and swimming.
