Escape to Les Juliannes, a historic estate dating back to 1664, set in the heart of the Tarn countryside. Two stone cottages of 140 and 120 m² are nestled in unspoilt nature, surrounded by 80 hectares of forests and meadows. Close to Albi, Gaillac, Cordes-sur-Ciel, Lautrec and the Tarn Valley, the estate offers a peaceful setting with swimming pool, walks, nearby villages, lakes and rivers. As evening falls, sunsets give way to a clear, star-filled sky. The space This listing includes two independent stone gîtes, measuring 140 m² and 120 m², accommodating 9 and 5 guests respectively. The gîtes are located on the same site and are rented together, with no internal connection between them : - La Pierre Étoilée (sleeps 9) - La Bergerie des Juliannes (sleeps 5) > La Pierre Étoilée Main level: - Entrance opening onto a 55 m² living area combining lounge, dining room and fully equipped kitchen, featuring a wood-burning fireplace insert and a 50-inch HD TV, with views over part of the gardens and the terrace. - One bedroom with a queen-size bed and one single bed. - One bedroom with a queen-size bed. - One shower room with WC. Lower level (naturally cooler in summer): - One bedroom with a queen-size bed that can be separated into two single beds. - One bedroom with two single beds. - Laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer. - One bathroom. - One separate WC. > La Bergerie des Juliannes Living area (ground floor) : - Spacious 40 m² living room opening onto a private garden. - Comfortable lounge with a pellet stove for cosy evenings. - Large 50-inch TV with possible access to your streaming services (Netflix, etc.). - Modern, open-plan and fully equipped kitchen. - WC. Sleeping area (upstairs) : - Master bedroom with a queen-size bed (160×200 cm) and its own washbasin. - Second bedroom with three single beds (90×200 cm), two of which can be joined to form a king-size bed on request. - Bathroom with bathtub and separate toilet. > Additional equipment : - Each gîte is equipped with Washing machine and tumble dryer, - Baby travel cot and high chair available on request. > Outdoor spaces : A 50 m² swimming pool (5 × 10 m) and its terrace are located less than 100 metres from the gîtes and are exclusively reserved for the guests of this listing during the stay. The gîtes open onto private garden areas, landscaped and clearly defined within a shared natural parkland at the rear of the property. Free parking is available opposite the entrance to the gîtes. > Pets Pets are welcome (maximum one per gîte), subject to prior notice and respectful use of the property (calm behaviour, cleanliness, prevention of damage, and compatibility with other animals on site). > Host interaction We personally welcome guests on arrival to provide practical information and then remain discreet, allowing you to fully enjoy the peace and quiet of the setting. Guest access You will have exclusive access to the entire cottages, including your private garden, terrace and swimming-pool, for complete privacy during your stay. Other things to note Rates include cleaning before and after your stay, as well as rental of bed linen and towels. The swimming pool is open from June to September, with variable opening and closing dates depending on weather conditions and average temperatures. Our cottage is located in a Bortle class 3 area (21.7 mag/arcsec²), providing excellent sky quality for astronomical observations.
