Other things to note Slagelse Golf Club is less than a 2-hour drive away; it's a fantastic 18-hole course. It's a 10-minute drive to Sorø, with all the culture from the time of Holberg and Bishop Absalon. Sorø also has a lovely lake for swimming. Trælleborg in southern Slagelse is an old excavated Viking fortress. Every year on June 5, there is a huge classic car event in Sorø, with over 2,000 cars gathered. There are many padel courts in Slagelse. Stillinge Beach is a 20-minute drive from the house. Slagelse has many great places to eat.
