Enjoy the food and drink offerings from Oakwood during your stay, or explore nearby Nor The space The Shepherds Hut is designed exclusively for two and sits tucked away in its own private woodland garden, surrounded by wildlife, giving you a peaceful space to relax while still have the facilities of Oakwood Marina on your doorstep. Inside you'll find a cosy double bed, Log-burning stove, underfloor heating, private bathroom with shower and full flushing toilet, kitchenette with fridge, kettle, toaster, air fryer and double burner electric hob. The fold-down bed can be stored away during the day to create a wonderful dining area and extra living space. Outside, you'll have your own secluded garden with plenty of seating, firepit, surrounded by trees and festoon lighting for relaxed outdoor evenings offer you the perfect place to unwind. Oakwood Marina sites alongside the the Trent & Mersey canal near Northwich, with waterside walks directly from site. You can also enjoy our on-site cafe, evening bar and stone baked pizzas when open. The Hut is around 100m walk from the designated parking area, which helps keep the immediate surroundings peaceful and car-free. Guest access Guests have exclusive use of the Shepherds Hut and its private woodland garden throughout their stay. You're also welcome to explore the public areas of Oakwood Marina, enjoy the canal side walks and visit our on-site cafe, bar and evening pizza during opening hours. The Marina moorings and boats are private and should not be accessed. Free parking is available on site approximately 100m from the hut. Other things to note The Shepherds Hut is tucked away from the main facilities in a quiet woodland area full of wildlife offering you greater privacy. There is no parking directly beside the hut. Parking is approximately 100m away and access is along the grass paths, which can become wet or muddy following poor weather. The hut has a fold-down double bed which converts into the dining area during the day if you would like additional living space. Oakwood Marina is a working marina and seasonal campsite, so other guests and boaters will be elsewhere around the wider site, while the shephers hut and its garden remain exclusively yours.
