Countryside cottage, 12 minutes from Angers

Treat yourself to a charming escape in this cottage created in 2025 within our Anjou farmhouse. Enjoy a private garden and a 2-hectare wooded park, and unwind in the peaceful countryside just outside Angers (12 minutes drive). The village (bakery, grocery store, and pharmacy) is 1.3 km away, on the edge of the Fouilloux woodland (90 hectares). Only 10 minutes from the banks of the Loire, in the heart of the bocage, set off to discover the treasures of Anjou. The space The accommodation features a private entrance and a landscaped private garden with outdoor furniture—perfect for enjoying sunny days. It is fully equipped to ensure a comfortable stay. The entire property is on one level, except for a loft-style bedroom with sloped ceilings, better suited for children/teenagers (low ceiling height, though adults can also stay there). It is furnished with two single beds that can be joined to form a double bed. The main bedroom, which opens onto the garden, includes a washbasin area for added comfort. The living room is both welcoming and functional, with two sofas—one of which converts into a very comfortable double bed for two people. It can be separated from the kitchen/dining area by a thick blackout curtain, ensuring privacy and quiet, and transforming it into a pleasant ground-floor sleeping space. You will also find a smart TV with international channels, a DVD player, Wi-Fi, and a workspace. The bathroom is equipped with a large walk-in shower, a well-lit and well-organized washbasin area (with storage), and a heated towel rail. The toilet is separate and includes a hand-washing basin. In a spirit of simplicity and sustainable tourism, we have chosen to furnish the accommodation mainly with second-hand furniture, except for the bedding and kitchen. Sourced, restored, or customized by us, each item has been carefully selected. The connected heating system, both efficient and energy-saving, ensures excellent thermal comfort while limiting energy consumption. Children are welcome: games, books, and outdoor play equipment are available for them (under parental supervision), including a zip line, swing, and football goal. You can also enjoy our 2-hectare wooded park, featuring two ponds (fishing possible), a large vegetable garden, and an orchard, and meet our animals: sheep, chickens, and ducks. Hiking trails are directly accessible from the property. Guest access Guests have access to the entire accommodation and to the shared (non-private) areas of our property.
