While elaborate cooking isn't permitted, guests can whip up basic necessities like tea, coffee, or baby food. The kitchen cabinets house serving bowls, casseroles, and other essentials, ensuring guests have everything they need for a comfortable stay. Meditate to the sounds of the birds and the experience breathtaking sunrises over the lake The place being away from city lights allows for minimal light pollution which makes it an ideal place for stargazing from September until May. The cottage is the preferred choice of pro astronomers who have photographed the milky way, nebulas, and other celestial objects from our location. You can observe meteor showers, constellations, ISS passovers with naked eye after turning off all the lights. Multiple telescopes are provided for advanced celestial observations. The ample outdoor space and nature makes it an ideal place for you and your furry friends. Go for a hike to explore the surroundings with your pets while you discover seasonal fruits and birds on the property. In the versatile outdoor spaces, enjoy outdoor games and activities with your loved ones. We have provided badminton, carrom, board games, and a dedicated kids’ play area with swings to keep you entertained during your stay. If you are fond of adventure activities, Torna and Rajgad forts nearby offer one of the best trekking experiences and views of Sahyadri range. The majestic Madhe Ghat waterfall is also reachable with a short drive and trek. Spend your mornings birdwatching – the property is surrounded by forest and attracts a wide variety of birds throughout the year. Guest access ★ Guests have private access to the entire property, including 3 bedrooms, 1 living room, 3 bathrooms, garden, patio although the kitchen is accessible, its usage is limited to preparing baby food or light reheating only. The caretaker will help you with the check-in and on-site requirements including the in-house meals. ** IN HOUSE MEALS** Please refer to photos of food menu and charges under photo section of "Dining Area" Other things to note ★ Things to Know ★ Cellular network is limited – only Jio works reliably in this area. Other networks have no coverage at all. Provided Wi-Fi is Jio sim-card based with speeds up to 10 Mbps. Speed may fluctuate Or May Not Work Sometime depending on the network provider, which is beyond our control. There is no air conditioning in the house – the high altitude and constant hill breeze keep the cottage naturally cool throughout the year, even in summer. The cottage is surrounded by forest and open sky, so after sunset insects and moths are common. Please keep doors and windows closed in the evening or use the mosquito nets provided. The location is remote and peaceful – nearest market is in Velhe (approximately 25–30 mins drive). We request you to plan groceries and inform meal requirements 24 hours in advance. Hot water is available 24x7 via gas geyser. Bonfire and barbecue can be arranged during dry months (no rain).
