This rustic country home offers space, privacy and a true rural retreat—perfect for couples, families or anyone seeking quiet, nature and fresh air. The space This is a traditional rural farmhouse set on a working olive grove in Northern Victoria. The home is approximately 100 years old, built with weatherboards and a tin roof, and offers simple, functional country accommodation rather than modern luxury. Inside, the house is clean and comfortable, with basic furnishings, air conditioning, hot water, a working kitchen, and a shower. Please note the bath is not operational. Facilities reflect a three-star standard, consistent with an older farmhouse in a rural setting. The home is a >100 year old Soldier settlement house built after an ANZAC returned from WWI. Being located on a farm in the countryside, guests should expect a natural rural environment. You may encounter insects, spiders, birds, lizards, and other wildlife, particularly during warmer months. This is a normal part of the farmstay experience and very different from city accommodation. Also, neighbouring farmers might be operating tractors and or other activities. This property is best suited to guests seeking a quiet, affordable farmstay, open space, fresh air, and a genuine country experience. If you are looking for modern finishes, luxury fittings, or hotel-style amenities, this may not be the right accommodation for you. Its priced accordingly. The price reflects the rustic nature of the home and offers excellent value for guests who appreciate simple living and rural charm. However, we do not allow pets, shooting, any illegal drugs, or excessive parties on site. No smoking or vaping inside the home. Any odours will incur specialised cleaning fees. Main Rules; At the end of your stay; 1. Put all linen and towels in the washing machine 2. Wipe down the benches, wash any dishes used or place in the dishwasher and turn on. 4. Any rubbish take and dispose off site. Note the site has >120 olive and fruit trees for commercial production. We welcome guests to pick up to but no more than 1kg of olives. Any more olives will be charged at $9.90/kg pick your own as these are premium organic Kalamata olives for sale.
