Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Situated at the end of a no through road therefore no traffic noise. Walk straight onto open countryside with a great bridleway network. Room (either paddock or stable) if you needed to bring a horse. Large double bed upstairs, two large comfortable sofas downstairs. ideal for parents with two horse-mad children! Yoga mats provided, animals to feed and fuss over. welcome basket of home made bread, fresh laid eggs (hopefully), home made flapjacks. The space large room downstairs with (minimal)kitchen area. log burning fire which we will attempt to keep stocked for you. Shower room, washing machine. Ideal for dogs! Welcome treats will be provided! Other things to note We live on a farm hence lots of animals; if you leave the door open it’s very likely that a rescue chicken will come in to see if you have any available food. If you’re unlucky, you’ll get a goat or a pig! I’m just mentioning this because if you’re not keen on animals in the countryside then pigment cottage is probably not right for you. :-). The staircase is open and the bedroom is on a balcony so not really suitable for children under 4 or 5. We are close to 2 wedding venues and supply one of those steamer irons like a hairdryer but steam so that you can do your clothes last thing. Happy to get in groceries for you.
