The space terra on a hill - is a peaceful farm and nature retreat nestled in the hills near Panchgani, created for guests who want to slow down and reconnect — with nature, with loved ones, and with themselves. Spread across open land with sweeping views, the property is designed around quiet experiences: morning walks, time with farm animals, long conversations, sunsets, bonfires, and star-filled skies. Evenings here are calm, and the atmosphere is intentionally unhurried. terra is best suited for couples and families, as well as thoughtfully curated celebrations planned in advance. This is not a party property. We value silence, space, and respectful coexistence with nature. If you’re looking for a place where the stay itself is the experience — rather than just a place to sleep — terra on a hill offers exactly that. Guest access We want you to feel completely at home during your stay at Terra on a Hill. Guests are welcome to enjoy their private booked accommodation along with the shared open spaces across the property — including walking paths, viewpoints, farm areas, outdoor seating spots, and common open zones. Feel free to explore the property at your own pace, find your favourite corner, or simply spend time outdoors enjoying the surroundings. Some experiences and facilities may be available at specific times or can be arranged with us in advance. To ensure everyone’s comfort and safety, a few areas such as staff-only zones, service areas, and animal-care spaces are kept private. We request guests to observe signage and respect these boundaries. Children are most welcome. As the property includes open land and natural terrain, we kindly request parents or guardians to supervise children while they explore. Pets are welcome with prior approval. We ask that pets remain supervised at all times and that guests clean up after them, helping keep the space comfortable for all. Other things to note Terra on a Hill is a peaceful farm and nature retreat, best enjoyed at a slow, relaxed pace. Meals Meals are freshly prepared and offered as optional meal plans. We offer a curated menu for the week based on seasonal and fresh ingredients which include veg and non veg options for all meals. These are not included by default and can be added based on preference. To ensure freshness and reduce food waste, meals are planned in advance, so guests are encouraged to inform us of their meal requirements prior to arrival. À la carte or on-demand dining is not available. Activities & experiences Terra offers a range of curated, nature-led experiences such as farm walks, sunrise and sunset viewpoints, bonfires, stargazing, and seasonal activities. A kids’ play area and indoor games / activities are available for relaxed family time. Some experiences are complimentary, while others are available at an additional charge and may require prior arrangement. Outdoor & mobility experiences Horse riding, electric cycles, and motorcycle / scooter rentals are available on request, subject to availability and safety guidelines. These activities may involve additional charges and are best arranged in advance. Weather & clothing Evenings can be cool almost throughout the year, so light warm clothing is recommended, even outside the winter months. Connectivity Wi-Fi is available across the campus with high-speed connectivity (up to 200 Mbps). As the property is located in a relatively remote area, connectivity may occasionally be patchy. In such cases, the terrace area usually has good mobile network coverage, making it suitable for work calls or video meetings. The property & surroundings As the retreat is spread across open land and natural terrain, guests are advised to wear comfortable footwear and move around with care, especially during monsoon or low-light hours. Quiet hours are observed in the evenings. Loud music, parties, or disruptive behaviour are not permitted. If there’s anything you’d like to clarify about meals, activities, experiences, or connectivity before arrival, guests are encouraged to enquire in advance so the stay can be planned smoothly and comfortably.
