Situated on an elevated site on the western side of the island, 10k from the main village of Kilronan, surrounded by stone walls and rugged landscape with a panoramic view across the bay to Connemara and Galway Bay. It's a short cycle to Dún Aengus, Caft Centre, blue flag sandy beach and The Banshees of Inisherin film location. The ideal location to explore the cliffs and shoreline, go fishing or just sit and enjoy the views. The space Located 10km from the main village, it's the ideal location for those interested in walking, cycling or meditation, offering peace and tranquility away from the hustle and bustle. The boasts one of the most fabulous views on the island. It is not suitable for younger children who are unable to cycle independently. Guest access Self check-in. House is approx 20 minute drive from pier. Mini bus/taxi can be arranged. Bikes can be hired from Aran Bike Hire and local shop can deliver groceries. Other things to note The house is located on the western side of the island, 10K from the main village. It's a terrific location if you would like to hire bikes to get around; like peace and serenity and enjoy spectacular views. There is no public transport on the island. The taxi service is operated by the tour buses and their first priority during the daytime are tours (especially during peak times) so it can be difficult to get a taxi on the island during the day. The location is not suitable for younger kids who cannot cycle independently and competently.
