The nearest natural bathing spot is only 400 metres from the house, and the larger public beach can be reached in about 15 minutes on foot. There you will find a playground, diving tower, jetties and large grassy areas, perfect for the whole family. Svanesund is located between Orust and the mainland and offers good connections by ferry to Stenungsund as well as buses to Gothenburg. Within an hour you can reach popular destinations such as Liseberg, Nordens Ark and the picturesque coastal villages of Hälleviksstrand, Mollösund and Klädesholmen. In the area you will also find cafés, farm shops, art galleries and beautiful hiking trails.
