Lovely, newly renovated summer house on Askø, just a few minutes' walk to the jetty and the playground. Perfect for a family with children or a senior couple. Included with the house: a canoe that seats 4 people, a new paddleboard, and a new trampoline with a safety net. The cottage is located in a cozy cottage area. Excellent fishing opportunities and beautiful natural surroundings. On the island, there is a grocery store, a harbor area with facilities including a laundry, small private stalls, and a small café. Askø is connected to the island of Lilleø, where there are several apple and pear orchards. The space The cottage was renovated 2 years ago and contains 2 bedrooms (both with double beds 140 and 180 cm), open kitchen with fridge-freezer, stove, oven and dishwasher, open living room with sofa corner and dining table. From the living room there is an exit to a small covered terrace with steps down to the garden. A wonderfully uninhibited garden where you can play soccer, barbecue, read good books, or just enjoy the peace and quiet in the sun. A four-person canoe is provided for you to explore the coast and the island from the water, as well as a paddleboard and a brand-new trampoline set up in the garden with a safety net. Pets are generally not allowed. If necessary, a smaller dog, by special agreement, can be brought. Cats are not allowed due to allergies. Guest access You can use the whole place freely. Just take care of it, like it was your own. Other things to note There are 2 bicycles that you are also welcome to use; otherwise, bicycles can be rented for the whole family at the harbor for a very reasonable price. You are welcome to use our canoe (seats 4 people) if you want to explore the Smålandshavet lake and the island from the water. We also purchased and installed a new paddleboard and a new, large, child-friendly trampoline with a safety net in the garden in 2026. The boat trip to the island is just wonderful, about 35–40 minutes. Book with Lolland Ferry, sailing route Kragenæs – Askø. And it's inexpensive to get there by car with the whole family. Sails year-round, multiple times a day.
