Sogni D’Oro is a traditional Ligurian farmhouse set at 500 metres above sea level in the peaceful Borbera Valley. Surrounded by the foothills of the Apennine mountains, with forested slopes and wide open skies, it’s a place where time naturally slows. The Borbera river runs nearby, and on clear days you can glimpse the Alps in one direction and the Sea in the other. Close enough to Genoa for day trips, yet far from the noise, Sogni D’Oro feels more like home than a hotel. The Borbera river runs nearby, adding a gentle soundtrack to the landscape. From the house, the views open wide - forests, hills, and sky - with the Alps visible in one direction and the Mediterranean Sea in the other on clear days. Downstairs is our private living area, and the garden is part of our home too, and as we have a dog, it isn't accessible to guests. If there’s ever anything you’re unsure about, please feel free to ask - we want you to feel comfortable and at ease while you’re here. During your stay We live on the property and are always nearby if you need help, have a question, or would like local tips. We’re happy to share recommendations or lend a hand - and we’re just as happy to give you space to enjoy the quiet.
