Here, comfort, style and a fantastic location with stunning views of the Altenau Valley combine to create a perfect retreat. Whether for relaxation, an active vacation or simply a cozy temporary home – with us you will find peace, nature and a feel-good atmosphere all in one. The property was completely renovated in the 4th quarter of 2025 and furnished with modern furniture and a high-quality fitted kitchen. The bright dining room with a view of the valley invites you to enjoy meals together and relaxed moments. The terrace with a dining table, lounge furniture and a beach chair is the perfect place to enjoy nature, start the day or end the evening with a beautiful view. The cozy living room features two comfortable leather sofas and a smart TV with activated streaming services such as Netflix – ideal for relaxing hours after an active day. Two tastefully furnished bedrooms with high-quality box-spring beds ensure a good night's sleep: one room with single beds, the other with a double bed that can be separated if needed – perfect for families, couples or friends. A modern shower room and a washing machine complete the offer. Designed with a lot of love for detail, the house immediately conveys a feeling of warmth and wellbeing. After an eventful day, you can end the evening in a relaxed manner in the restaurant "Die Fabrik" in the vacation village – with good food and convivial hours. Our vacation home is more than just a place to stay – it's a place where you can relax, enjoy nature and experience your vacation to the fullest. Since the temperatures are also getting warmer here, we have currently equipped the house with an air conditioning system. Guest access Access is provided with a key in a key safe. Code will be provided upon reservation. As a landlord, however, I am always available, as I live in the immediate vicinity. Other things to note Our cozy vacation home is located in the European vacation village Lichtenau-Husen in the southern part of the district of Paderborn, idyllically nestled between varied natural landscapes. Located on the northern edge of the Sauerland and in the immediate vicinity of the Teutoburg Forest in the east, the area offers ideal conditions for recreation and active leisure activities. Whether extensive hikes, bike tours or excursions by motorcycle – the region inspires with well-developed trails, quiet roads and magnificent views. Nature lovers get their money's worth here as well as active vacationers. Thanks to the good transport links, many interesting cities can be easily reached by car. The university city of Paderborn with its cathedral, the Paderquelle and the historic old town is worth a visit as well as Detmold with the Hermannsdenkmal and the Residenzschloss. Bielefeld and Soest with their charming city centers and cultural offerings are also within easy reach. For nature lovers, the Edersee Nature Park (about 40 minutes away) and the nearby Diemelsee offer excellent opportunities for swimming, hiking, cycling or simply relaxing by the water. Other attractions in the district of Paderborn include the Dalheim Monastery with its LWL State Museum of Monastery Culture, the Wewelsburg – Germany's only triangular castle – and the Senne with its unique heathland. After an eventful day, the evening can be spent relaxing in the beautiful restaurant "Die Fabrik" in the holiday village – ideal for good food, social hours and a successful end to the day.
