Snug cottage in the heart of the South Downs

In the heart of the South Downs National Park, our two bedroom terraced cottage is perfect for walkers and cyclists, couples, friends, and small families seeking a peaceful countryside break. We are situated close to Chichester, Petersfield and Portsmouth and just under 6 miles to the world famous Goodwood racecourse and motor circuit. Our local pub the Barley Mow is just 150 yards away! Perfect for dinner and drinks after a long bike ride or walk through the downs. Read other notes re dogs The space - Two double bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with a king size bed. - One bathroom with a bathtub and a separate shower, towels provided. - Cosy lounge space with dining area, open fire and smart TV. - Fully equipped kitchen. - Garden with patio and seating area Guest access Guests have full exclusive use of the entire property Other things to note Children are absolutely welcome at the cottage, however, at certain times of the year, there is a stream which is quite fast running through the garden which can be a hazard for unsupervised children. We don’t have cots etc, but you are welcome to bring your own, there are also no stair gates. Please be aware that the stairs are steep and fairly narrow (quite typical of a cottage of this era) this might not be suitable for all. If you would like to drop bags or cases off earlier than check in time, please do ask first as we will do our best to accommodate. Pets - Please do not allow pets upstairs or on furniture. Although our garden is fenced, it is NOT secure (with fences being low on one side and hedging on another) so please keep an eye on your dogs at all times when in the garden. The neighbours have a rescue cat, so if your dog is reactive, please just be aware of this as the fences are low. Animals should not be left unattended in the property at all
