La Croix Bardon

Relax and unwind in this calm, stylish Gîte set within 2.5 acres of peaceful countryside. Recently refurbished to a high standard, the Gite offers four comfortable bedrooms, two with en-suite bathrooms. Two bedrooms feature king-size beds, while the third has a French double. The fourth has two single beds. The Gite comfortably accommodates 6 guests. There is also a separate WC on the ground floor. Guests are welcome to enjoy a gentle stroll or simply relax in the large, well-kept garden. The space La Croix Bardon Gîte is attached to the owners’ main residence, but guests have their own private entrance, ensuring privacy throughout their stay. The Gîte is arranged over two floors, with one bedroom conveniently located on the ground floor - ideal for guests with limited mobility or those who prefer easy access. The Gite and gardens are non-smoking. Please respect this request. Full fibre broadband is included. Guest access During your stay you’ll have private use of the Gîte, the gardens, and the swimming pool, giving you plenty of space to relax and enjoy your surroundings. Depending on weather conditions, the swimming pool is open from around late April to late September and is available daily from 10 am to 7 pm. Pool inflatables are not provided. Feel free to bring your own. Private parking off road under car port for 1 car only. Other cars can park for free in road. Other things to note The Gite is located in the countryside, but is, however, only a 5 minute drive to two supermarkets and a fuel station. A further few minutes takes you to the town of Civray, with its twice weekly markets. There are no amenities within a walking distance of the gite. Please consider this when booking. Seasonally, there are several places to eat and drink, or take a stroll alongside the Charente river. The gite is 15 minutes drive to the town of Ruffec, where you will find plenty of other amenities. The Gite is located approximately 50 minutes drive from Poitiers airport and 1 hour 10 minutes drive from Limoges airport. We are just under 2 hours drive to nearest coast line. The property gardens are undergoing extensive landscaping work at present. Rest assured there will be no noisy machinery in operation during your stay. This will not spoil your stay.
