Romance charm vacation home in art and beer village

Discover Watou art village from our charming rural vacation home. This home was completely renovated in 2025 to become a vacation home. A belle floor arrangement with cozy roof terrace was chosen, from here you have a fantastic view over the street, and you see the many oldtimers, tractors, carriages, party buses, carriages...In the evening, you can relax by the BBQ fire on the terrace with babbling water. Romance is located in the village, within walking distance of cafés and restaurants. The space Come extraordinary enjoyment in a very cozy classic Country Loft style. From the first moment you step inside, you feel the holiday vibe. This completely renovated vacation home is part of 2 separate vacation homes built in the house of a former tobacco factory. Old beams and walls were cleaned and upgraded, an open kitchen dining and seating area were furnished on the floor as a belle-etage overlooking the roof terrace and the surroundings. There is one master bathroom with an additional single bed on the mezzanine. Next to this bedroom, there is a luxury bathroom with a double spa and shower. On the ground floor, there is an additional shower and toilet with a sink. For cyclists, there is a small bicycle storage room with charging facility on the ground floor behind the house. There is a lovely outdoor area with a table and lounge furniture, as well as a small pond, where you can enjoy the outdoors and have a barbecue on nice, warm days and evenings. The house has been renovated according to current strict insulation standards: The heating is done by central heating, while the thick walls and the good insulation keep the summer heat out for a long time! Parking is free and more than sufficiently available in most periods. Guest access Both vacation homes enjoy privacy opposite each other, and therefore have their own entrance. Each vacation home has a separate front door The front door for your booked stay "Romance" can be found at Steenvoordestraat 43 in Watou. Along this front door is the key safe... The code for this will be communicated between 1 and 3 days in advance via the website. Each vacation home also has its own outdoor space with seating furniture Bicycles can be parked in the outdoor space behind the house. You can park your car for FREE, usually close to the door, preferably on Steenvoordestraat from number 44 and up. There is a laundry and drying room with an extra toilet and shower… on the ground floor. Other things to note There are conditions for the use of the 2nd common shower and toilet and laundry room Indoor smoking is NEVER ALLOWED We dispose of the waste free of charge if it is neatly sorted. Please sort the waste into *PMD (plastic, cans, packaging goods, PET bottles) can be placed outside in the metal cabinet by the pond *Residual waste (also in the metal cabinet by the pond) *Paper and cardboard (in the closet under the stairs in a box) or just indoors *Glass (in the cabinet under the stairs) *Unspoiled food may remain NEATLY in the fridge in its original packaging (our chickens and pigs will thank you) *The house is left brush clean upon departure, in case of pets at least vacuumed. If the waste is unsorted, a charge of €30/bag will be charged. Also, in the case of unwashed dishes, this flat rate of €30 will be charged. In case of damage to objects or decoration, we would like to hear from you, often no costs are charged for this, a small gift in that case will be accepted with gratitude
