The space COVID-19 Compliant Residence You are welcome to stay here provided you honor certain criteria: A willingness to limit leaving the house IDEAL: You work remotely & practice social distancing. You observe hand washing norms You clean counters and handles frequently. You would leave to get medical care if you present with real symptoms of COVID 19 Private wing of house with kitchen access. The space is designed as a decompression space. It is really open, clean, and has beautiful light. Great spot to do yoga and meditation. It's very uplifting and peaceful. I live in this space as my full time residence. I'm renting this room as supplemental income to my teaching salary. On weekends I often meal prep in the kitchen, which can be involved or simple depending on the week. I'll hold off on using the Stand Mixer, Food-Processor, and Blender until the afternoon so that you can sleep-in without being disturbed! If you let me know time windows that you're out-of-the-house I can plan to do the noisy things during that time. Guest access Parking: There is one spot on the left of the garage and one spot in the driveway on the left side. This is a homey home. When I'm not at home, you'll feel like you're in your own personal castle. When I am home, I'll be in my own vibe. You can use the common spaces including the kitchen, living room, and dining areas especially when I'm out of the house or not actively using them. We can be flexible and figure out a good working arrangement during your stay. Sometimes I use the commons all day- and you can feel free to come and go as you need. And I’m pretty low key about sharing. Standard kitchen norms apply, please pick up after yourself and rinse/ place any dishes in the dishwasher. Please eat in the dining area. If I'm home, we can coordinate a general and flexible schedule with me for ideal times to use the kitchen and living room. During your stay I work but I'm also still around and accessible - and I'm especially available by e-mail. When I come home from work I'll probably say hey, wash up, make & eat dinner in the common space, read a book on the couch, and then head to my room early because I'm an early bird. I keep unpredictable work hours and can be home at odd times of the day- and yet, I will respect your privacy. Other things to note There is a closet across from the door to your room that contains emergency toiletries like travel toothbrush & paste. It also includes art supplies, puzzles, and games, like Carcassonne. If I have free time during your stay, we could put together a game night and we could use the long table in the study to play one of the more involved board games. I am an early riser. I could be in the kitchen as early as 5 AM on weekdays. My room is right next to the garage- you're on the other end of the house. So, that's a plus side. :-)
