Winter adds to this magical moment with a cozy fire in the fireplace 🔥 So even if the sun and the temperature aren't cooperating for using the pool, you can still enjoy a relaxing moment as a couple, with family, or with friends 🥰. Imagine relaxing in a hot tub after a great day of sightseeing, when the sun has set ✨ 🌙, with a glass of champagne! 🥂 Pool with no neighbors opposite, secure and heated from EARLY MAY to SEPTEMBER 30, WEATHER PERMITTING. The Gîte du Soldat Carouge (4* furnished tourist accommodation in 2020) is located in a green setting, enclosed by walls, covering 1,300 m² (14,000 sq ft). This is an old 85 m² building made of cut stone, completely renovated while retaining its old-world charm. Unconventional house with two half-levels that will win you over with its view of the large wooded garden, its swimming pool, and, finally, the quietness of the countryside. This gîte is located on the large grounds of our house, which we make available for your use, as well as the swimming pool. Our terraces are not directly overlooked. We make it a point of honor to respect your privacy. THE SPACE The gite can accommodate up to six people (5 adults and 1 teenager). The entrance is via the terrace, where a large picture window allows you to enjoy the stunning views of the walled, wooded garden and the pool. ON THE GROUND FLOOR - Large living/sitting room with hardwood floor, fireplace, 3-seater sofa, flat-screen TV, Internet/WiFi. - Equipped open kitchen: dishwasher, pyrolytic oven, 4-burner gas stove, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, filter coffee maker, Senseo pod machine, toaster. - Vacuum cleaner, ironing board and iron - Electric heating with thermostats - Wooden gate to make access to the stairs safe for children. ON THE LOWER HALF-LEVEL - Separate toilet with washbasin - Master bedroom with a 140x200 cm double bed - Family bedroom with 2 90/200 cm single beds that can be converted into a large bed, and with access to the vaulted area with two single beds (one 90*190 cm bed and another 80*180 cm bed) in a more private space, separated from the other 2 single beds but without a door. - Washing machine and dryer ON THE SECOND LOWER HALF-LEVEL - Vaulted room with exposed antique stonework: bathroom with antique bathtub and large walk-in shower - Changing table and baby bath OUTSIDE THE GÎTE - wooded plot of 1300 m² (0.32 acres) - 43 m³ in-ground pool OPEN AND HEATED FROM THE END OF APRIL.🏊‍♀️ - garden table, chairs, wrought-iron lounge chairs, cantilever sun umbrella - Electric griddle - Ping-pong table and paddles - Pétanque set - Games for children: swing, tennis rackets, badminton rackets, etc. Both adults and children will find enough space in the garden to share moments of conviviality. Unusual, atypical, bucolic stay guaranteed!! GUEST ACCESS Access to the cottage is via an electric gate that leads to the garden, where you can park your vehicle. Parking is also available on the streets nearby. OTHER THINGS TO NOTE - Check-in from 5 p.m. via a lockbox or with the host, depending on availability. - Check-out no later than 11 a.m. - Swimming pool shared with the owners, who may occasionally reserve time slots for private use and leave the pool for you to use privately during certain time slots as well (it is possible to coordinate these time slots if necessary). Late check-out in the afternoon is possible, depending on the availability of the vacation rental and at an extra cost. - Electricity/heating consumption: consumption reading and billing if the package allowance is exceeded - Billing in high season if used in heating mode in the cottage (provided from July 1 to August 31) - Fireplace: A basket of firewood is provided in season from November 1 to April 30. An additional basket costs €10. AROUND US - 20 min from Center Parcs Villages Nature Paris - 30 minutes from the beautiful city center of Reims, its historic landmarks and its champagne cellars. - 35 min from Laon town center, its cathedral and its medieval city - 1 hour 30 minutes to Disneyland Paris - 1 hour 50 minutes from Parc Astérix Guest access You have access to the entire property, its garden and the swimming pool that can be shared with the owners. We leave ourselves the possibility to privatize access to the pool but also to allow you (if that is your wish) to enjoy it privately during certain time slots (to be defined together). Becoming the owner of this cottage also means the pleasure of interacting with guests, possibly sharing friendly moments and opening the minds of our teenagers: what cultural richness!! We will respect your privacy and your desires, sharing is by no means an imperative! Access to the cottage is via an electric gate leading to the garden where you can park your vehicle. Other things to note Please note that the cottage is located on our property near our house and that we make our property and our pool available to the cottage. But we are not directly overlooked. Therefore, the grounds and pool may be shared with us or at least with our teenagers if necessary (common or separate time slots are possible; we can easily adapt). But don't worry, they will be discreet and respectful towards you. Bed linens and bath towels will be provided, but not pool towels (it is possible to rent them for an additional fee in cash on site). However, there is no cleaning service or change of bed linen and towels during your stay (if necessary, a washing machine and dryer are available in the accommodation). Pets are allowed if they are not aggressive and if they are respectful of the premises, for an additional fee (€10 per pet per night): to be paid in cash on site. Ask us in advance.
