Private swimming pool, secure and heated from the BEGINNING OF MAY to SEPTEMBER 30, DEPENDING ON THE WEATHER. The gîte du soldat Carouge (4* furnished for tourism in 2020) located in a green setting enclosed by walls of 1300 m². This is an old building of 85 m2 in cut stone, completely renovated while retaining the old world charm. Atypical house of two half levels that will seduce you with its view of the large wooded garden, its swimming pool, and finally the quiet of the countryside. This cottage is located on the large grounds of our house, which we make available to you, as well as the swimming pool. Our terraces are not directly overlooked. We make it a point of honor to respect your privacy. THE SPACE The cottage sleeps up to six people (5 adults and 1 teenager). The entrance is through the terrace where a large bay window will allow you to enjoy the breathtaking views of the wooded garden, enclosed by walls and the swimming pool. ON THE GROUND FLOOR - Large living room with parquet floor and fireplace, 3-seater sofa, flat-screen TV, Internet/Wi-Fi. - Equipped open kitchen: dishwasher, pyrolysis oven, 4 gas burners, microwave, refrigerator with freezer section, filter coffee machine, Senseo pod machine, toaster. - vacuum cleaner, ironing board and iron - electric heating with thermostats - wooden barrier to secure access to stairs for children. AT THE LOWER MIDDLE LEVEL - Separate toilet with handwasher - master bedroom with a double bed of 140/200 cm - Family room with 2 single beds of 90/200 modular in a large bed and in a row access to the vaulted space of two single beds (either a bed of 90* 190 cm and another of 80*180 cm) more intimate, removed from the other 2 single beds but without a door. - Washing machine and dryer ON THE SECOND LOWER HALF-LEVEL - vaulted room in exposed old stones: bathroom with period bathtub and large walk-in shower - changing table and baby bath THE OUTSIDE OF THE GÎTE - 1300 m² wooded land - 43 m³ swimming pool OPEN AND HEATED FROM THE END OF APRIL.🏊‍♀️ - garden table, chairs, wrought iron lounge chairs, offset parasol - electric plancha - Ping pong table and paddles - pétanque game - games for children: swing, tennis rackets, badminton... GUEST ACCESS Access to the cottage is via an electric gate leading to the garden where you can park your vehicle. Parking is also available on the streets nearby. OTHER THINGS TO NOTE - Check-in from 5 p.m. via a lockbox or owner reception according to availability. - Check-out no later than 11 a.m. - Swimming pool to be shared with the owners who can block time slots for private use and leave you the pool on certain time slots for private use as well (possibility to exchange to organize these time slots if necessary). Late afternoon check-out possible, subject to availability of the gîte and at an additional cost. - Electricity/heating consumption: consumption reading and billing if package is exceeded - Invoicing in high season if used in heating mode in the cottage (offered from July 1 to August 31) - fireplace: a wood basket is offered in season from November 1 to April 30 The additional basket is priced at 10 euros. AROUND US - 20 min from the Center Parc de l'Ailette - 30 min from the beautiful city center of Reims, its historical monuments and champagne cellars. - 35 min from the center of Laon, its cathedral and its medieval city - 1h30 from Disneyland Paris - 1h50 from Parc Astérix Guest access You have access to the entire property, its garden and the swimming pool that can be shared with the owners. We leave ourselves the possibility to privatize access to the pool but also to allow you (if that is your wish) to enjoy it privately during certain time slots (to be defined together). Becoming the owner of this cottage also means the pleasure of interacting with guests, possibly sharing friendly moments and opening the minds of our teenagers: what cultural richness!! We will respect your privacy and your desires, sharing is by no means an imperative! Access to the cottage is via an electric gate leading to the garden where you can park your vehicle. Other things to note Please note that the cottage is located on our property near our house and that we make our property and our pool available to the cottage. But we are not directly overlooked. Therefore, the grounds and pool may be shared with us or at least with our teenagers if necessary (common or separate time slots are possible; we can easily adapt). But don't worry, they will be discreet and respectful towards you. Bed linens and bath towels will be provided, but not pool towels (it is possible to rent them for an additional fee in cash on site). However, there is no cleaning service or change of bed linen and towels during your stay (if necessary, a washing machine and dryer are available in the accommodation). Pets are allowed if they are not aggressive and if they are respectful of the premises, for an additional fee (€10 per pet per night): to be paid in cash on site. Ask us in advance.
